On Friday afternoon, August 13th, Noah Dike (34 years old of Springville) was arrested for multiple burglaries and thefts after a lengthy joint investigation between the Indiana State Police and Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department.

On Thursday, Aug. 12, the U.S. Department of Education (Department) announced the approval of Indiana’s American Rescue Plan Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ARP ESSER) plan and distributed remaining ARP ESSER funds to them.
Orange, Gibson, Perry, Posey, Jennings, Jefferson, Switzerland and Clay counties met the 200+ cases-per-100,000 residents and/or 15%+ positivity rate. All eight counties now under red are located in the southern half of the state.
