Thomas B. Butcher, 65, of Loogootee
Thomas B. Butcher, 65, of Loogootee, Indiana passed away on Saturday, August 8,
2026 at his residence. Born on December 15, 1960, he was the beloved son of Richard
and Marguerite (Riley) Butcher.
Thomas was a 1979 graduate of Loogootee High School, and was a U.S. veteran,
having served in the Army National Guard. He loved to camp and fish. Later in life he
found his talent at quilting and made several beautiful pieces.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: Rick and Ron Butcher.
He is survived by his son, Cody (Angela) Butcher; one grandson, Isaiah Butcher; his
siblings: Karla (Bill) Latham and Terry (Michelle) Butcher.
Cremation was chosen in accordance with his wishes. A memorial service is planned
for a later date.
