Shirley Ann Spurgeon, 86, of French Lick, Indiana entered into eternal rest on October 17 th , 2026 at Springs Valley
Meadows.
She was born in Dubois County, Indiana on March 19 th , 1940 to Roscoe Snider and Nancy Catherine Peabody.
Shirley married Frank Spurgeon on August 31 st , 1957 and he preceded her in death.
She was also preceded in death by her Parents; and Brother – Donald Snider.
Shirley retired from Pluto Corporation after 42 years.
She loved visiting yard sales, watching westerns and Wheel of Fortune, bird watching, and solving word puzzles. She
especially enjoyed getting her hair done and always took pride in her appearance. Above all, she cherished her family,
whom she loved dearly.

Daughters – Angela Spurgeon, Cindy Spurgeon and Rebecca Kellems (Billy)
Step-Daughters – Rosa Marie Rominger and Rita Pinnick
Sisters – Wanda Woolsey and Jean Painter

FUNERAL CEREMONY
A Funeral Ceremony will be conducted by Pastor John Moffatt on Saturday, October 24 th , 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Brosmer-
Kemple Funeral Home with burial to follow at Emmons Ridge Cemetery.
VISITATION
Visitation for friends and family will be Saturday, October 24 th , 2026 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the
funeral home.
