Sharon Taylor, 65, of Bristow, passed away on August 13, 2026.
Sharon was born on February 13, 1961,
in Tell City to John and Mercedes (Bauer) Prueher. She was united in marriage to Rick Taylor on October
23, 1982, in St. Martin of Tours in Siberia, Indiana.
Sharon retired from Kimball Internation in Santa Claus. Sharon enjoyed raising plants, watching Pureflix,
and spending time with her dogs; she would spend her weekends listening to Country Gold on Saturdays
and Golden Oldies on Sundays. She loved God and Jesus with all of her heart.
Sharon is survived by her husband Rick; three children: Brian Taylor of Bristow, Timothy Taylor of
Bristow, Elizabeth (Terry) Brown of Dale; 13 grandchildren: Mason Taylor, Savanna Taylor, Kambryn
Taylor, Kaylyn Taylor, Karisma Lee, Gracie Brown, Alena Brown, Zaiden Brown, Arianna Brown, David
Brown, Heaven Brown, Nick Wiley, Violet Sommer; siblings: Ralph Prueher of Bristow, Jeff Prueher of
Bristow, Roger Prueher of Bristow, Fred (Randi) Prueher of St. Criox, Jolena Smith of Utica, KY., Linda
Mahaney of Bristow, Debbie (Albert) Rahman of Martinsville, and Rita Gehlhausen of Huntingburg; 17
nieces and nephews; 20 great nieces and nephews, and 4 great-great nieces and nephews.
Sharon is preceded in death by her sister-in-law Claire Prueher and brother-in-laws: Steve Smith, Tony
Mahaney, and Verl Gehlhausen.
A Funeral Service will be held Monday, August 17th at 12:00 PM EST at Becher Funeral Home in
Ferinand, with burial to follow in St. Martin of Tours Church Cemetery in Siberia. Visitation will be at
Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand on Monday, August 17th from 10:00 am EST to time of funeral
service.
