Scott A. Birk, 53, of Hartland, Maine

Scott A. Birk, 53, of Hartland, Maine, passed away March 2, 2026 in Portland, ME. He was born December 27, 1972 in Jasper, IN. Scott graduated from Pike Central High School Class of 1993. He went on to work for T&E Welding out of Petersburg, IN as a welder and was happy to be employed by his longtime friends, Tiny and Nichole Evans. 

Scott is survived by his daughter, Hannah (Colby) Williams Riggs; two grandchildren; his sister, Pheobe (Shawn) Kendall; his brother, Dustin J. (Sue) Nolan; his nephews, Randall Kendall and Austin Kendall; and a niece, Adalyn Nolan. He is preceded in death by his mother, Sophia Birk Price.

Services for Scott will take place at 1 PM EST on Thursday, March 19, at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg, IN with visitation from 10 AM EST until service time. The burial will follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Campbelltown, IN. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
