Robert K. McLaughlin, age 65, of Santa Claus

Robert K. McLaughlin, age 65, of Santa Claus, passed away at 6:21 p.m., Monday, August 17, 2026, at his home.

He was born on July 19, 1961, in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, to Wendell McLaughlin and Donna Murphy. Robert proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Army. He enjoyed tinkering and could often be found working on various projects. Above all, Robert treasured the time he spent with his daughter and grandchildren. He also had a special place in his heart for his beloved dogs, Ollie and Pippi.

He was preceded in death by his father; one daughter, Sasha McLaughlin; and one brother, Ronald McLaughlin.

He is survived by one daughter, Brittany Williams of Evansville; his mother, Donna Murphy of Las Vegas, Nevada; one sister, Carla Wright of Las Vegas, Nevada; and by two grandchildren.
