Renee F. Humbert, age 71, of Dubois, Indiana, passed away at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 12, 2026, at home surrounded by family.
Renee was born on March 6, 1955, to Stanley F. and Mary (Moore) Voelkel. She married Keith Humbert on December 30, 2014.
She loved to cook and took care of everyone. She retired from operating Renee’s Restaurant.Renee enjoyed sewing, cooking, making jewelry, and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Keith Humbert, Dubois; five children: Lacy (Chris) Brumley, Owensboro; Grendlyn Blessinger, Dubois; Shana Kluesner; Rockport; Samantha (Britt) Schott, Indianapolis; and Ashley (Craig) Merkel, Dubois; 15 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren, three sisters: Jeaniene (Harold) Eichmiller, Rhonda Voelkel, and Susie Caughey, two brothers: Chuck (Gin) Voelkel and Ferrell (Bobbi) Voelkel.
She is preceded in death by her parents and son, Brandon Terwiske.
A private Celebration of Life for Renee F. Humbert will be held at a later date.
