Ray Dean “Radar” Salmon, 67, of Shoals, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at
Daviess Community Hospital, Washington.
Born July 15, 1959, in Washington, he was the son of Delbert Ray and Betty Jean (Butler)
Salmon.
Ray attended Shoals schools.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, being outdoors riding his four-wheeler, and spending time with his
family and friends.
Surviving to cherish his memory are his son, William “Billy” Salmon; siblings, Sandra Faye
Arthur, Anita (David) Letterman, Roger (Amy) Salmon, and Bonny Jo Dove; and several nieces
and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Anthony Salmon; brother, Delbert Lee Salmon;
and sister, Rosetta Hopper.
Graveside services will be at 9:00 A.M. on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at Spring Hill
Cemetery.
