Randall Ray Langebrake, age 65, of Holland

Randall Ray Langebrake, age 65, of Holland, passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2026, on his farm.

He was born July 23, 1961, in Huntingburg, Indiana, to Russel Langebrake and Betty (Matthew) Langebrake-Reynolds. He married Lynette Vantlin on September 12, 1987, in Vincennes, Indiana. Randy was a faithful and devoted husband, a loving father, and a very proud Papaw. He and Lynette raised four wonderful children, and Randy considered it one of his greatest blessings to see each of them come to know Christ. He led his family not only through his words, but also by the example he set in the way he lived, loved, worked, and served others. Randy was passionate about his farm and especially enjoyed caring for his cattle. He worked as the Transportation Manager, a.k.a. “The Milkman” for Holland Dairy for 38 years. Randy was always willing to lend a helping hand, including working alongside his son in his roofing business. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, pickleball, playing cards, and spending time on the golf course, usually with a Dr. Pepper in-hand. Above all, Randy had a heart for people. He poured into the lives of those around him, encouraged others in their faith, and faithfully sought to point people toward Jesus through both his words and the life he lived. Of all the titles Randy held throughout his life, one of his most treasured was “Papaw.” He took tremendous pride in his 12 grandchildren and loved each of them dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Cheryl Lou Langebrake.

Randy is survived by his wife, Lynette Langebrake of Holland; four children, Zach (Katlyn) Langebrake of Holland, Leah (Colin) Hildenbrand of Huntingburg, Haley (Sam) Collins of Santa Claus and Ellie (Josh) Springer of Newburgh; one sister, Rhonda (Greg) Lindauer of St. Henry; and twelve grandchildren, Ainslee, Laney Ray, Bowen, Eleanor, Reid, Brody, Walker, Micah, Callahan, Robbie, Russell Ray and Maelin; mother-in-law, Marilyn Vantlin of Vincennes.

Funeral services for Randy Langebrake will be held at 10:00 a.m., E.D.T., Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at Redemption Christian Church in Jasper. Burial will follow at Zoar Cemetery. Pastor Darrel Land will officiate the service.

Visitation will be held from 2:00-8:00 p.m., E.D.T., on Monday, September 28, 2026, at Redemption Christian Church in Jasper; and also from 9:00-10:00 a.m., E.D.T., on Tuesday, prior to the service at the church. Rainey Funeral Home in Dale has been entrusted with the arrangements.
