Polly Wagner, age 63, of Ferdinand

Polly Wagner, age 63, of Ferdinand, Indiana, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2026, at home surrounded by family.

She was born July 23, 1963, in Dale, Indiana, to Robert and Leona (Kern) Fuchs. Polly married Ralph Wagner on September 3, 1983, in Dale.

She worked as a house cleaner for Kersteins new construction, was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and Ladies Sodality in Huntingburg, and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Ralph, Clarence, Danial, Tom and Jerry Fuchs.

She is survived by; her husband Ralph Wagner of Ferdinand; two sons, Jacob (Amy) Wagner of Huntingburg and Brock (Jaris) Wagner of Palmyra; one brother, Bob Fuchs of Mariah Hill, and five grandchildren, Addison, Jackson, Blaise, Maccabee, Leona and one on the way.

Funeral services for Polly Wagner will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 3, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg with burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. The funeral Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Biju Thomas.

Visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg will be from 2:00-7:00 p.m., Sunday, August 2, with a rosary held at 6:30 p.m. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
