Nicole Lee Ryan, 53, of Bedford

Nicole Lee Ryan, 53, of Bedford, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at IU Health Bloomington Hospital.


Born April 13, 1973, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Danny and Nancy Ryan.


Nicole graduated from Bedford North Lawrence High School with the class of 1992.


Nikki loved flowers, animals, and spending time with her family.


Surviving to cherish her memory are her mother, Nancy (Scott Banks) Ryan; grandmother, Mahala Kinser; step-mother, Jami Ryan; siblings, Christopher (Isha) Ryan, Mikayla (Mikey) Ryan-Chronister, Corrie (Barry) Pope, and Beau Hash; best friends, Terry and Kristi Srygler; husband, John Payne; nieces and nephew, Erelah Ryan, Orlaith Ryan, Olivia (Matthew) Driesler, Landon Pope, Alexis Krebbs, and Eden Srygler; great-niece, Sophia Driesler; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.


She was preceded in death by her father, Danny Ryan; brother, Clinton Ryan; grandparents, Thomas “Junior” and Opal “Polly” Ryan, and Bob Kinser; and many aunts and uncles.


Memorial service will be 5:30 P.M. on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at the Limestone Chapel of George Funeral Care, 527 15th Street, Bedford, Indiana. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
