Michael “Mike” James Schepers, age 58, of Winslow

Michael “Mike” James Schepers, age 58, of Winslow, passed away on August 21, 2026 at the Waters of Huntingburg. 

He was born on August 29, 1967 to Ralph Schepers and Sandra (McCracken) Schepers Eickelberger.  Mike worked maintenance for Greif Industries and attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church. He enjoyed working on cars, collecting arrowheads and coins, 4-wheeler riding and especially spending time with his family.   He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mike is survived by his children; Laura Schepers of Huntingburg, James (Courtlyn) Schepers of Hawesville, Kentucky, Ashely Schepers of Jasper; siblings, Diane (Will) Denton of Celestine, Brenda (Ferdinand) Delapaz of Long Beach, California, Gail (Rodney) Fischer of Santa Claus, Sherry (Lane) Smith of Lake Mills, Wisconsin, Darryl Schepers of Huntingburg; and four grandchildren, Delorenzo, William, Ryatt and Rusten.

Visitation for Mike Schepers will be held at Nass and Son Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 25th from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 10:00 a.m. EDT at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg with burial to follow in Mayo Cemetery.  Condolences may be shared online at:  www.nassandson.com
