Mary L. Boeglin, age 76 of Jasper

Mary L. Boeglin, age 76 of Jasper, passed away surrounded by family at 3:20 a.m. on August 16, 2026 at St. Charles Health Campus in Jasper, Indiana. 

Mary was born in Huntingburg, Indiana on July 8, 1950 to Sylvester and Marie (Danhauer) Boeglin.

She worked as a home caretaker for the elderly for many years. She was a member of Redemption Christian Church in Jasper.    

Mary was also a member of the Jasper Moose, the Celebration Singers and the St. Charles Senior Club. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, cooking, playing the saxophone, playing tripoley, watching Dancing with the Stars, polka dancing, and spending time with family and friends. 

Surviving is one son, Jeffrey Pund (Viola), Brazil, IN three daughters: Sylvia Randle (Robert), Ferdinand, Michelle Hardin (Andrew), Danville, IN, Janelle Stepro (Jason), Evansville, her companion, Michael K. Pund, Ferdinand, ten grandchildren: Cameron Pund (Stephanie), Alex Randle, Ethan Pund, Declan Hardin, Kaitlyn Randle, Mia Hardin, Xander Hardin, Rylan Stepro, Jayde Stepro, and Daxton Stepro, one sister, Geralyn Jochem (Kevin), St. Henry, and three brothers: Kenneth Boeglin, St. Henry, Leroy Boeglin (Karen), Jasper, and Randy Boeglin (Mary Ann), Huntingburg, and best friend, Carolyn Willis of Jasper. 

Preceding her in death were her parents, one sister, Donna Towels, and twin grandchildren, Avaric and Joel Stepro.  

A Celebration of Life for Mary L. Boeglin will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday August 26, 2026 at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel with burial to follow at a later date at St. Meinrad church cemetery. A visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the 7 p.m. service time at the funeral home on Wednesday. The family would like to extend a thank you to Maigen and the staff of St. Croix Hospice. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Croix Hospice or a favorite charity.
