Marvin R. “Merf” Egloff, 68, of Ferdinand

Marvin R. “Merf” Egloff, 68, of Ferdinand passed away, Sunday, February 3 rd at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center in Jasper. 

Marvin was born February 10, 1950 in Huntingburg to Clarence and Hilda (Senninger) Egloff. He married Charlene Singer on September 21, 1968 in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg. 

Marvin was retired as owner of Egloff Trucking. He was a member of Christ the King Parish, St. Ferdinand Church. Marvin enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, playing cards and was an avid NASCAR fan. 

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Charlene Egloff of Ferdinand; a son, Jeff Egloff of Keizer OR.; two granddaughters, Erin Egloff of Eugene, OR. And Jenna Egloff of Willsonville, OR. Marvin was preceded in death by both his parents. 

Funeral services will be Saturday at 10:00 AM in St. Ferdinand Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 4-8:00 PM at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand and Saturday from 7-9:30 AM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be shared at www.becherfuneralhome.com
