Mark “Porky” Rust, age 57, of Huntingburg
Mark “Porky” Rust, age 57, of Huntingburg, passed away Friday morning, January 4, 2019, at his residence.
He was born July 19, 1961, in Huntingburg, Indiana to Don and Clara (Heim) Rust. Mark worked as an Assembly Builder at OFS for the past 40 years. He enjoyed tinkering around in his garage; spending time with his family outdoors in nature; and watching NASCAR. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Jane “Becky” (Hobbs) Rust, who died on October 10, 2011.
He is survived by two sons, Allen Rust of Huntingburg and Bryan Goffinet of Holland; his parents, Don and Clara Rust of Huntingburg; two brothers, Steve (Erin) Rust of Huntingburg and Ron (Gretchen) Rust of Huntingburg; and three grandchildren, Abby, Chris and Emily.
Funeral services for Mark “Porky” Rust will be held at 10:00 a.m., E.S.T., on Monday, January 7, 2019, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Augustana Cemetery in Holland, Indiana. Pastor Debbie Roe will officiate at the service.
Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 2:00-7:00 p.m., on Sunday, January 6th.
