Marjorie Huff-Baughn, age 90, of Dale

Marjorie Huff-Baughn, age 90, of Dale, passed away at 1:10 a.m., Sunday, September 20, 2026, at Oakwood Health Campus in Tell City.

She was born October 17, 1935, in Caneyville, Kentucky, to Charles L. and Dorcus (Wilson) Johnson. Marjorie was a member of Little Pigeon Baptist Church. She enjoyed working puzzles, embroidery, crocheting, and quilting. Above all, Marjorie cherished spending time visiting with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, John W. Bolen; second husband, John Huff; three children, Michael Scott Bolen, Marjorie Lyn and Dora Clowdus; five siblings, Louis Johnson, Richard Johnson, Lucinda Osbourne, Patricia Patmore and Regina Nugent; and by one grandchild, Terry Joe Nugent

She is survived by one son, John (Sue) Bolen of Dale; two siblings, Millard Johnson of Evansville and Effie Baker of Newburgh; and by nine grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service for Marjorie Huff-Baughn will be held at 1:00 p.m., C.D.T., on Friday, September 25, 2026, at Rainey Funeral Home in Dale.  Burial will follow at Midway Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., C.D.T., on Friday, prior to the service at the funeral home.  The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Oakwood Health Campus for the care they gave Marjorie in her final months.  Condolences may be shared online at: www.raineyfuneralhome.com
