Marie Dall, 93, of Ferdinand

Marie was born on September 22, 1932, in Louisville to Leo and Bertha (Miller) Lueken. She was united in marriage to Robert A. Dall on May 5, 1956, in Sacred Heart Church in Schnellville, Indiana. Robert preceded her in death on July 31, 2024. 

 Marie was a devoted mother of six children while working at various part-time jobs until retiring from Southeast Dubois County School Corporation. She was a member of Christ the King Parish, St. Ferdinand Church, and the St. Anne’s Sodality as well as a Choir member. Marie enjoyed being with her family, traveling, quilting, working with her flowers, gardening and canning. 

 Surviving are three sons; Steve (Vicki) Dall of Fishers, Gary (Linda) Dall of Jasper, and Keith (Marcia) Dall of Fishers; three daughters, Arlene Olinger of Ferdinand, Brenda (Stan) Stetter of Schnellville, and Sharon (Keith) Welp of St. Anthony; fourteen grandchildren and twenty-seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Janice Hurst of Huntingburg. 

Marie was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Mark Olinger, one grandchild, Abbie Stetter; siblings, Eileen Schuler, Louis Lueken, Rosalee Scherle, her twin sister, Therese Ernst, Ralph Lueken, Ray Lueken, Dorothy Bachman and a sister in infancy, Rose Mary Lueken.
