Linda D. (Salmon) Hert, 75, of Shoals

Born February 1, 1951, in Washington, she was the daughter of Herschel Jr. and Betty (Stone) Salmon. Linda married Robert “Bob” Hert on December 22, 1967; and he survives. 

She attended Shoals High School. Linda worked at the Shoals Senior Center for over 15 years. She enjoyed gardening, tending to her flowers, and spending time with her kids and grandkids. 

Surviving to cherish her memory are her husband of 59 years, Robert; children, Robert (Chrissy) Hert Jr., Richard Hert, Scott (Deanna) Hert, and Christopher (Michelle) Hert; grandchildren, Kevin Hert Jr., Jordan (Jessica) Hert, Amy (Dustin) Holt, Cody (Brooke) Hert, Brian (Kelsey) Hert, Brittany Hert, Ariel (Daniel) Mulinix, Emma Hert, Colton Hert, and McKayla Hert; several great-grandchildren; sister, Debbie Hill; brothers, Kent Salmon and Greg Salmon; special nephew, Gage Salmon; and many other nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; great-granddaughter, Kyndale Qualkenbush; sisters, Lisa Wininger and Lana Sue Wilkerson; brother-in-law, Mike Hill; and sister-in-law, Mary Salmon.
