Lillian “Caroline” Beyke, age 86 of Huntingburg

Lillian “Caroline” Beyke, age 86 of Huntingburg, passed away on August 30, 2026 at The Waters of Huntingburg.


She was born on November 13, 1939 in Tennyson, Indiana to Silas Bell and Genola (Smith) Sutter and married Christian Ray Beyke.  Caroline was a CNA and worked in various nursing centers in the area. She cherished the time spent with her children, grandchildren and her special little fur baby, Daisy. 


She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Christian Ray; sisters, Helen Chumbley, June Collins; brother, Howard Bell; half-brother, Raymond Burch; grandson, Jason Curtis Brown in 1983; and a granddaughter, Samantha Jo Beyke in 1988.   


Caroline is survived by her children, Mike Beyke of Jasper, Lisa Brown of St. Anthony, and Teresa (Jeff) Henke, of Jasper; a brother, Leland Bell of Evansville; 6 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.


A graveside memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 9th at 10:00 a.m. EDT. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church Cemetery in Huntingburg.  Friends may gather at the cemetery prior to the service.  Fr. Ramirez will officiate the service.  Condolences may be shared online at www.nassandson.com
