Judy A. Krodel, age 81, of Jasper

Judy A. Krodel, age 81, of Jasper, Indiana, passed away surrounded by family at 1:49 p.m. on Monday, June 22, 2026, at St. Charles Health Campus in Jasper, Indiana.

Judy was born in Jasper, Indiana, on July 23, 1944, to Ferdinand and Sophia (Donahue) Fuhs. She married Clifford A. Krodel on September 20, 2003, at Christ Lutheran Church in Haysville, Indiana.

She was a 1962 graduate of Jasper High School.

She was employed by Dubois County Family and Social Services where she retired after 42 years.

She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Haysville, Indiana.

She enjoyed quilting, and spending time with family and friends.

Surviving is her husband, Cliff Krodel, Jasper, IN, two children, Cary (Carla) Flamion, Jasper, IN, and Natalie (Bruce) Schmitt, Newark, CA, four grandchildren, Michala (Ethan) Humbert, Tanner, Taylor, and Trevor Schmitt, one great grandson, Everett James Humbert, one sister-in-law, Rosie Fuhs, Jasper, IN, one nephew, Matt (Katy) Fuhs, and one niece, Wendy Fuhs.

Preceding her in death is one brother, Robert Fuhs.

A funeral service for Judy A. Krodel will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 26, 2026, at Christ Lutheran Church in Haysville, Indiana, with entombment to follow in the Fairview Cemetery Mausoleum in Jasper. Pastor Timothy Kraemer will officiate.

A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service time at the church on Friday.Memorial contributions may be made to Christ Lutheran Church in Haysville or to a favorite charity.
