Josephine “Jo” Weaver, 94 of Franklin, TN formerly of French Lick, IN entered into eternal rest on August 20 th , 2025 at
Morning Pointe Senior Living in Franklin, TN.
She was born in Fayetteville, NC on November 8 th , 1930 to Loyd and Vallie (Ward) Adams.
Jo married Glenn Weaver on April 15 th , 1951 and he preceded her in death on May 19 th , 1998.
She was also preceded in death by her Parents and Sister – Dorothy McCurdy.
Jo was a 1949 graduate of Fayetteville High School and retired from Springs Valley Schools where she was the
Treasurer.
She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of West Baden Springs and Phi Beta Psi Sorority. After Jo
moved to Franklin, TN she became a member of Franklin First UMC.
She enjoyed family, friends, flowers, travel, reading and all things chocolate.
Jo is survived by:
Sons – Gary (Cheryl) Weaver of Newburgh, IN
Adam (Marian) Weaver of Franklin, TN
(2) Grandchildren – Jason (Tammy) and Matthew
(2) Great-Grandchildren – Henry and Olivia
FUNERAL CEREMONY
A Funeral Ceremony will be conducted by Rev. Bud Kielhorn on Monday, August 25 th , 2025 at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) at
Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home with burial to follow at Ames Chapel Cemetery.
VISITATION
Visitation for family and friends will be Monday, August 25 th , 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral
home.
