John David Howell, age 81, of French Lick
John David Howell, age 81, of French Lick, Indiana, formerly of Shoals, Indiana entered into eternal rest on September
24 th , 2026 at Springs Valley Meadows.
He was born in Shoals, Indiana on February 9th , 1945 to Edmund and Catherine (McBride) Howell.
John married Beverly Gregory on August 27th , 1966 and she preceded him in death on January 2nd , 2020.
He was also preceded in death by his Parents; Sister – Jeraldine Nelson; Brothers – Robert, Larry, and Kevin Howell;
and Foster Son – Kirk Sanders.
John proudly served his country in the United States Army where he served in Vietnam.
He was self-employed as a
general contractor.
He enjoyed fishing and being outdoors.
John is survived by:
Daughter – Michelle Galloway (Brooks)
Grandchildren – Ryan and Morgan Burkhardt
Great-Grandchildren – Sawyer and Sidney Smoot, and Sutton Goodman.
Cremation was chosen and burial will be held at a later date at Spring Hill Cemetery, Shoals, Indiana.
