Jeffery A. Dotterweich, age 45, of French Lick, passed away on August 3, 2026.
He was born on February 1, 1981 to Daniel Dotterweich and Dorothy (Schneider) Kimmel.
Jeff
had worked in the meat department at IGA, Warner Sawmill, and most recently, Jasper Rubber
Products. He was an avid ‘49ers fan, enjoyed camping, and spending time with family and
friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Joshua Dotterweich.
Jeffery is survived by his children; Jeffery II, Renea and Darlene Dotterweich all of Louisville,
Illinois; Jocelyn and Amethyst Dotterweich of Ireland, Indiana; sisters, Tiffany (Luis) Palma of
Jasper, Melissa Dotterweich of French Lick, Felicia Dotterweich of Loogootee, Ashley Kimmel of
Loogootee; a step brother, George Kimmel; and a granddaughter on the way, Nyla Jo
Dotterweich.
Visitation for Jeffery Dotterweich will be held at Nass and Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg on
Sunday, August 9 th from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 4:00 p.m. EDT. In lieu of
flowers, memorial contributions may be made to assist the family with final expenses.
