Elnora (Gibson) Diamond of Loogootee

 She will be sadly missed and forever remembered in our hearts. We would love for you to come and honor her life at Mt. Zion Wesleyan Church on Saturday, November 25, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Elnora was born June 24, 1938 in Knott County, Kentucky to the late Travis and Hassie (Mead) Gibson.

 She married John B. Diamond on October 2, 1954 and he survives. Elnora was a member of the Mt. Zion Wesleyan Church. She loved gardening, flowers, cooking and attending church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Travis and Hassie Gibson; her siblings, Elizabeth Gibson, Darlene Hatton, and Elmer Gibson.

 Elnora is survived by her husband, John B. Diamond; her children, John (Cathy) Diamond Jr., Jim (Sandy) Diamond, Arvil (Tina) Diamond, Eddie (Bonnie) Diamond, Richard (Julie) Diamond, Carolyn (David Cordell) Diamond, and Scott Diamond; her grandchildren, Brandy, Chad, Matt, Misty, Eric, Arvil Jr., Mandy, Cody, Logan, Landon, Alaina, Luke, Jordan, and Audrey; and several great- grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. Friday, November 24, 2023, at the Mt. Zion Wesleyan Church in Loogootee. 

Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, November 24, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
