Edith “Sis” Pinnick, 83, of French Lick

Edith “Sis” Pinnick, 83, of French Lick, Indiana, entered into eternal rest on March 12 th , 2026 at Springs Valley Meadows. 

She was born in French Lick, Indiana on July 29 th , 1942 to George C. and Helen (Cook) Galloway. Edith married Eugene Pinnick on October 21 st , 1959 and he preceded her in death on March 9 th , 2026. 

She was also preceded in death by her Parents and Brothers – Dale and Keith Galloway. 

Edith was a member of Youngs Creek Church of Christ and retired in 2015 after 42 years at Springs Valley Community Schools where she worked as a secretary and the deputy treasurer for the superintendent. 

She enjoyed singing, attending church services, hunting mushrooms, picking up persimmons, feeding the deer and hummingbirds, and was known for her baking and delicious desserts that she shared with family, friends and school staff. 

Edith is survived by: Son – Brent Pinnick (Marilyn) of West Baden Springs, Indiana Daughter – Brenda Wyman (Gary) of French Lick, Indiana Granddaughter – Kayla Best (Logan) of French Lick, Indiana Bonus Grandsons- Bill Choate, Jason (Michelle) Choate, and Jordan (Jane) Wyman Bonus Granddaughter – Amanda (John) Bush Several Bonus Great-Grandchildren and Great-Great-Grandchildren Brothers – Loren Galloway (Karen) of French Lick, Indiana David Galloway (Donna) of French Lick, Indiana John Galloway of French Lick, Indiana Sister – Louise Henry of French Lick, Indiana Many Nieces and Nephews who knew her as “Aunt Sis” 

FUNERAL CEREMONY 
A Funeral Ceremony will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 18 th , 2026 at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home with burial to follow at Paoli Community Cemetery. 

VISITATION 
Visitation for family and friends will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17 th , 2026, and on Wednesday, March 18 th , 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Springs Valley Education Foundation, a designated Springs Valley school club or organization, or do a good deed in Edith’s memory.
