Donna K. Wagner, age 71, of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 3:40 p.m. on Saturday, November 7, 2020, at Jasper Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center.
Donna was born in Ireland, Indiana, on August 23, 1949 to Rudolph "Rudy" and Virginia (Adams) Schitter. She married Ronald "Ron" Wagner on October 17, 1970, in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Ireland, Indiana.
She was a proud graduate of the Ireland, Indiana Class of 1967.
She was a lifelong homemaker and spent her earlier years babysitting and working for the Greater Jasper School Corporation as a cook.
She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
She enjoyed playing cards, coloring, gardening, bowling, and spending time with family and friends.
Surviving are her husband of 50 years, Ron Wagner, Jasper, IN, four sons; Jamie Wagner, Ferdinand, IN, Jeremy (Lynn) Wagner, Jasper, IN, Ryan (Audrey) Wagner, Jasper, IN, Shane (Audrey) Wagner, Jasper, IN, six grandchildren; Carter, Ella, Jace, Ally, Brooklyn, and Cale, two sisters; Pat Fowler, Holland, IN, Cindy (Steve) Schnell, Celestine, IN, one brother; Mike Schitter, Ireland, IN and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents and one brother, Gary Schitter who died in infancy.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Donna K. Wagner will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 13, 2020, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Jasper, Indiana, with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery. Masks and social distancing will be required.
A private family visitation will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church or to a favorite charity.
