Donald L. “Donny” Barnett, age 66, of Velpen

Donald L. “Donny” Barnett, age 66, of Velpen, Indiana, passed away at 4:24 a.m., on Wednesday, October 22, 2019, at his residence.

He was born April 24, 1953, in Huntingburg, Indiana, to Bertis and Betty (Stilwell) Barnett; and married Robin L. Huckelby on December 22, 1973.  Donny enjoyed attending car shows, tinkering around in his garage and spending time with his grandkids.  He was preceded in death by his parents; and half-brother, Barry Altmeyer.

He is survived by his wife, Robin L. Barnett of Velpen; two children, Crystal (companion, Darron Shoults) Barnett of Loogootee and Dan (spouse, Beverly) Barnett of Jasper; and six grandchildren, Faith, Gavin and Ethan Barnett, Wyatt and Jade Huff, and Colton Schmitt.

Funeral services for Donny Barnett will be held at 10:00 a.m., E.D.T., on Friday, October 25, 2019, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Stilwell Cemetery in Pikeville.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home from 4:00-8:00 p.m., on Thursday, October 24^th.
