Darlene Allstott, 76 of French Lick

She was born in New Albany, Indiana on March 4 th , 1950 to Arthur James and Golda Alice (Belcher) Tabor. Darlene married Doug R. Allstott on April 22 nd , 1989 and he preceded her in death on November 6 th , 2012. 

She was also preceded in death by her Parents; 

Son – Jay Zehr 

Daughter Christina Zehr. 

Darlene was a 1969 graduate of Springs Valley High School, had owned the Hoosier and Turf Bars, and Valley Shoe Store. She was the first female Orange County Deputy Sheriff, then was the jail matron and retired from the Indiana State Highway Department. She enjoyed cooking, reading, playing cards, being on Facebook and spending time with grandkids and family.
