Clarence Knust, 96, of Ferdinand
Clarence Knust, 96, of Ferdinand, passed away on Tuesday, April 29 th at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in
Evansville.
Clarence was born November 4, 1928 in Ferdinand to John and Catherine (Burke) Knust.
Clarence was a lifelong farmer. He enjoyed trucking and hauled cattle for many local farmers. Clarence
was a Korean War Veteran. He was a member of St. Ferdinand Catholic Church and Ferdinand American
Legion Post 124.
Clarence is survived by a brother, Joe (Charolette) Knust of Jasper and a sister, Mary
Krassick of Columbus, IN; many nieces and nephews.
Clarence was preceded in death by two brothers,
Ernest and Lenny Knust and a sister, Rita Begle.
Funeral services will be Friday, May 2 nd in St. Ferdinand
Church at 11:00 AM with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Ferdinand American Legion Post 124
will conduct military graveside rights. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 9:30 AM until time
of services at 11:00 AM.
