Brenda Sue Rincker, 75, of Loogootee

Brenda Sue Rincker, 75, of Loogootee, Indiana passed away at 4:20 a.m. Friday, November 10, 2023 at her home.

She was born February 18, 1948 in Indian Springs, Indiana to the late Lloyd and Wilma (Martin) Gee.

Brenda married Charles Rincker on August 8, 1980 and he survives. 

She was a former member of the Trinity Gospel Tabernacle Church and attended Mt. Zion Wesleyan Church. Brenda loved her family and grandchildren. She took great pride in transporting the local Amish to various appointments and stores. 

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Llyod and Wilma Gee; brother, Joe Gee and Donnie Gee; sisters, Patty Bowling, Caroline Gee and Peggy Schwartz; great-grandson, Joshua Paul Manofsky; niece, Debbie Harmon; nephew, John Gee; brother-in-law, Jerry Baxter.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Rincker of Loogootee; children, Kevin (Liz) Tinkle of Montgomery, Karri Tinkle (Lana Bradley) of Loogootee, Rodney Tinkle of Loogootee, Kim (Roger) Higdon of Loogootee, Wesley (Amy) Rincker of Shoals, and Angela Douthitt of Jasonville; grandchildren, Kayla, Krystal, Aaron, Keylie, Willie, Blake, Derrick, Tristan, Doug, Dustin, Dalton, Jessica, Shaun, Tyler, Olivia, Chelsea, Lucas, Caleb, Greg, and Kristie; 20 great-grandchildren; siblings, Lois Baxter of Jeffersonville, Judy (Pat) Sinnott of Loogootee, Junior Gee of Florida; sisters-in-law Lynn Gee and Jeanne Gee; brothers-in-law, Don Bowling and Robert Schwartz; and many nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at Blake Funeral Home in Loogootee, Indiana. Burial will follow in Goodwill Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Monday, November 13, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Blake Funeral Home and Tuesday, November 14, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
