April N. Best age 45, of Huntingburg, passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2026 at her
home.
She was born on July 1, 1981 to Ike and Vicky Best.
April graduated from Southridge High
School in 2000 and attended Olivet Nazarene University in Illinois where she received her
Bachelor’s Degree in Social Services, she then pursued a career in Social Work.
April was the
founder of Celebrate Life and was known for giving encouraging talks and making homemade
cards to give away. Her world was her dog Hattie, whom she loved dearly.
She was preceded
in death by her father.
April is survived by her mother Vicky; one brother Christopher Best; grandmother Elberta Best;
several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will take place at a later date.
