WPD: 23-year-old Arrested for Child Molesting
Washington- Washington Police concluded a child molesting investigation with an arrest.
On Thursday, November 1st, Washington Police say 23-year-old Alexander Korthaus of Jasper was arrested following a child molesting investigation that began in October.
Police say they were contacted by the Indiana Department of Child Services about a possible sexual assault involving a minor. Detectives started their investigation and obtained an arrest warrant for Korthaus. He was taken into custody Thursday without incident.
Charges Against Alexander Korthaus:
- Child Molesting (2 Counts)
- Sexual Misconduct with a Minor
- Child Exploitation
**All Charges are mere accusations. Accused are to be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law**
