WOMEN EMPOWERING WOMEN OCTOBER 28, 2026 EVENT: Balance: Chair Yoga, Meditation & Sound Bath with Andrea Schnaus
The Dubois County women’s leadership organization, Women Empowering Women (WEW), is pleased to welcome Andrea Schnaus, founder of Andrea Schnaus | Yoga & Ancient Remedies, for its fourth-quarter session on Wednesday, October 28, 2026.
Centered around WEW’s fourth-quarter theme of Balance — wellness, restoration, and resilience, the session will offer women an opportunity to slow down, reset, and explore practical ways to create greater balance and presence in their everyday lives.
Schnaus will guide attendees through an approachable experience incorporating chair yoga, meditation, and a sound bath. The session is designed to make wellness practices accessible regardless of previous yoga or meditation experience and will provide participants with an opportunity to step away from the demands of their daily routines and intentionally focus on restoration and well-being.
Schnaus is the founder of Andrea Schnaus | Yoga & Ancient Remedies, a woman-owned holistic wellness practice devoted to healing through ancient and intuitive modalities. Her work includes yoga, sound baths, Reiki, plant medicine guidance, and natal chart astrology.
Teaching yoga since 2021, Schnaus has continued to expand her practice through experiences with different cultures and healing traditions. The modalities she shares with others are practices that have also played a meaningful role in her own life. Her work is grounded in experience, curiosity, and a genuine desire to help others reconnect with balance, presence, and clarity.
During the October session, attendees will have the opportunity not only to learn about these wellness practices but to experience them firsthand. Through gentle movement, guided meditation, and sound, the program will encourage participants to consider how creating intentional moments of restoration can support resilience in both their personal and professional lives.
In connection with the event, Women Empowering Women will also recognize the Dubois County Humane Society as the featured nonprofit organization.
Advanced reservations for the luncheon are required for members and guests. Reservations should be made by calling the Jasper Chamber of Commerce at 812-482-6866 or by emailing [email protected] by Thursday, October 22. The cost for lunch is $10.00 per person and is payable at the door.
