WOMEN EMPOWERING WOMEN JUNE 24th, 2026 EVENT: Her Journey of Becoming

The Dubois County women’s leadership organization, Women Empowering Women (WEW), is pleased to host Her Journey of Becoming, an inspiring luncheon and panel discussion featuring three accomplished women leaders from across the region. The June 24, 2026, session will be held at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Jasper (333 River Centre Landing, Jasper, IN). Doors will open at 11:30 a.m. for networking prior to the program beginning at 11:45 a.m. EST. This event is open to all prospective and current WEW members.

The featured panelists include Kourtney Smith, Chief Operating Officer of Kimball International; Amy Jackson, Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer of German American Bank; and Pam Metz, President and Owner of Boston International. Together, the panelists will share personal and professional experiences surrounding leadership, growth, challenges, resilience, and the evolving journey of becoming.

Kourtney Smith brings more than 30 years of experience in the office furniture and hospitality industries and currently helps shape the strategic direction and operations of Kimball International.

Amy Jackson serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer at German American Bank and brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in operations, lending, strategic planning, marketing, communications, and technology. She is also an active community leader throughout the region.

Pam Metz is the President and Owner of Boston International in French Lick, Indiana. With more than 30 years of experience in the gift and home décor industry, Metz has led the company through significant growth while expanding U.S.-based manufacturing and artist partnerships. Under her leadership, Boston International has expanded operations, strengthened domestic manufacturing initiatives, and continued building meaningful partnerships with artists and retailers around the world.

During the June event, attendees will hear candid insight from each panelist as they discuss career growth, leadership lessons, balancing personal and professional responsibilities, overcoming challenges, and building meaningful impact within their industries and communities.

This session is designed to encourage and inspire women in business through authentic conversation, shared experiences, and purposeful networking. Guests will leave feeling empowered with practical insight, encouragement, and renewed confidence in their own personal and professional journeys.

The mission of Women Empowering Women is to inspire women in business to reach their highest potential by instilling confidence, building networks, and promoting community in Dubois County. Membership is open to any woman in business who lives or works in Dubois County.
