Woman Sent to the Hospital After Crashing Moped into a Mailbox in Jasper Friday

JASPER -- An area woman was sent to the hospital after crashing her moped into a mailbox in Jasper on Friday.

It happened around 5 p.m. on Meridian Road.

After hitting the mailbox, the woman lost control of the moped and wrecked on the roadway.

She was sent to the hospital for lacerations to her head.  No other details have been released.
