Woman Killed in Crash Monday Morning is From Odon, Investigation Continues

DAVIESS COUNTY -- A crash Monday morning in Daviess County claimed the life of an Odon woman.

It happened on CR 600 East near CR 900 North.

Investigators say 63-year-old Susan Hert was traveling on 600 when, for an unknown reason, her car began to swerve; running off of the roadway, and hitting an embankment before landing on its roof.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

An autopsy is pending.  Police do not believe drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash.
