Areas Affected: Dubois; Clark; Casey; Orange; Harrison; Marion; Hart; Shelby; Warren; Crawford; Bullitt; Washington; Adair; Taylor; Jessamine; Jefferson; Larue; Edmonson; Henry; Hardin; Meade; Perry; Harrison; Bourbon; Logan; Nelson; Madison; Barren; Woodford; Metcalfe; Breckinridge; Butler; Grayson; Trimble; Scott; Spencer; Washington; Green; Nicholas; Garrard; Floyd; Hancock; Fayette; Boyle; Oldham; Ohio; Jefferson; Scott; Mercer; Simpson; Clark; Franklin; Anderson; Lincoln


Wintry precipitation is expected on Friday night. Rain will change to snow in the evening as temperatures drop.

Accumulating snow is expected in Indiana and north of the Parkways in Kentucky.

A period of freezing drizzle is expected after midnight south of Interstate 64. Expect roads to become slick at times from late Friday evening into Saturday morning.

* WHAT...Minor snow accumulations of 1 to 2 inches along and north of the Western Kentucky and Bluegrass Parkways.

Minor ice accumulations less than a tenth of an inch south of I-64.

* WHERE...Southern Indiana and most of central Kentucky.

* WHEN...Snow begins Friday evening. Best time for accumulating snow late evening. Changeover to freezing drizzle after midnight.


* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the evening commute west of Interstate 65.
