Waterline Work Complete East of Stendal With No Need For Boil Order or Outage

From Local Sources

STENDAL -- The waterline repair just east of Stendal was completed Wednesday with no impact to water customers.

Crews had feared the potential for a water main break during the work, which would have likely prompted a boil order for residents living nearby.  But, Tom Thacker tells WITZ Radio News, that didn't happen.  Everything went smooth, no water outages or boil orders were placed into effect.

The work is part of a waterline repair project going on in and around the town of Holland.

We will be getting a more in-depth update from Thacker on the overall project when he returns to town next week.
