UPDATE- S CLAY STREET Notification of Boil Water Order 07-17-26

The Jasper Municipal Water Department announces that water main repairs have been completed on S Clay Street, near Celebration Ice. A Boil Water Order is in effect for the affected water customers. This is the only area affected.

The Boil Water Order will be in effect until further notice and is being issued to prevent residents from getting sick from potentially harmful germs or chemicals in the water.

The water customers affected are asked to boil their water for 5 minutes before human and pet consumption. The water is safe for bathing.

The Boil Water Order will last a minimum of 48 hours or until 2 consecutive water samples pass testing. Another notification will be made once the Boil Water Order is lifted.
