STATEWIDE-- Meijer and ALDI are joining the growing list of stores that are asking customers not to walk through their aisles with a pistol on their hip. Yesterday, the two stores asked customers not to open carry in their stores.

Both companies say they are thinking about the safety of their employees and customers.

Open carry is legal in Indiana, but you must have a concealed carry permit to do so.
