Three-Vehicle Crash Lands Dubois Woman in Jail

JASPER -- Police arrested a Jasper woman following a crash Tuesday afternoon on Newton Street.

Police say Elexey Aguilar was driving while suspended when she caused a three vehicle crash before fleeing the scene.

The driver was located a short time later at Farbest Foods in Huntingburg.

Aguilar was arrested and charged with driving while suspended with a prior and leaving the scene of an accident, both are misdemeanors.

She was also cited for following too closely.
