Tell City man behind bars on child sex charges, six felonies
Perry Co., Ind. - A 19-year-old Tell City man is behind bars for child sex crimes.
On July 23, 2026, Detective Conrad presented the results of the investigation to the Perry County Prosecutor and submitted a probable cause affidavit to the Perry County Circuit Court. The court subsequently issued an arrest warrant for Sturgeon. Sturgeon was taken into custody without incident by the Perry County Sheriff’s Office.
Sturgeon is currently being held without bond at the Perry County Jail.

Per an Indiana State Police press release, Trevor D. Sturgeon, 19, of Tell City, was arrested on six felony counts and taken to the Perry County Jail.
