Summer Arts Workshops Beginning at Jasper Community Arts

This summer, Jasper Community Arts will once again host summer arts workshops at the Thyen-Clark Cultural Center. Two new oil painting workshops, as well as new acrylic, watercolor, and gouache workshops, join a host of other favorites, including card-making, zentangles, and music theory. Ceramics and clay workshops will include hand-building and wheel-throwing for all ages and skill levels.

Other new offerings include a special paper-chaining workshop for developmentally disabled adults and My First Monet for children ages 5-7. A new gallery and art-making experience, Peek-A-View Thursday, will take place June 6 and July 11 and is for children ages 4-6 and their grown-ups.

Registration open. To register, visit jasperarts.org/workshops, or call 812-482-3070. The Thyen-Clark Cultural Center is located in Jasper at 100 3rd Avenue. Jasper Community Arts is a department of the City of Jasper.  Additional support is provided by Friends of the Arts, Inc., Dubois County Tourism, the Indiana Arts Commission, and the National Endowment for the Arts with special thanks to the Arts Council of Southwestern Indiana.
