SPECIAL WX STATEMENT: Another Hot Day is in Store For Our Area Thursday

JASPER -- The Hoosier Heatwave continues with another hot day in store.

Another Special Weather Statement has been issued for the entire area again today.  Heat indices are expected to reach into the upper 90s to lower 100s this afternoon.

A few spots may experience temporary relief in and near pop-up thunderstorms.

Be sure to drink plenty of water if outdoors for prolonged periods of time.  Also, wear light, loose clothing, take breaks if possible, and wear sunscreen.

Do NOT leave children or pets unattended in parked vehicles.
