Sounds of Summer to bring Beach Boys magic to season finale on October 4
The Lincoln Amphitheatre will conclude its 2026 season with Sounds of Summer – a Tribute to the Beach Boys on Sunday, October 4, marking not only the 2026 season finale but also the final performance in this year’s Sunday Amp Unplugged acoustic matinee series.
Sounds of Summer brings the beloved Beach Boys sound to life with signature harmonies, feel‑good classics, and a high‑energy performance that audiences of all ages enjoy. Songs like “Surfin’ USA,” “Good Vibrations,” and “Wouldn’t It Be Nice” create the perfect soundtrack to celebrate the close of another outstanding season.
“We always look forward to the Sunday Amp Unplugged shows, and this year’s lineup is absolutely exceptional,” said Marc Steczyk, Lincoln Amphitheatre’s director. “Wrapping things up with the summery nostalgia of the Beach Boys is the perfect finale.”

The Sunday Amp Unplugged series of events is presented with support from the Friends of Lincoln State Park. In addition to the October 4th Sounds of Summer performance, other shows in the Sunday Amp Unplugged series include a May 17 celebration of all things Johnny Cash and a September 13 return of On the Border’s acoustic full band celebration of The Eagles.
