AREA-WIDE -- Local health officials confirmed one new case of COVID-19 in Dubois County on Tuesday.
That brings the county’s total to 877 cases since the pandemic began. Of those cases, 17 have died; 756 others have recovered. When you do the math, it comes out to 104 active cases in the county.
Looking at the rest of our area: None of our local counties have reported a new death since the last update.
10 new cases were reported Tuesday in neighboring Daviess County. That brings their total to 554. One new case has been reported in both Spencer and Crawford Counties. Spencer has a total of 176 cases. It’s 76 total cases in Crawford. Orange County reported no new cases Tuesday. They’re holding steady at 260 total cases.
