Secretary of State Diego Morales Visits More than 60 Counties in January, Delivering Election Improvement Grants

Secretary of State Diego Morales continues visiting several counties to hand deliver election improvement grants.  Today he will be making stops in the following counties: Morgan, Greene, and Sullivan Counties.

In addition to today’s stops, Secretary Morales visited Fountain, Montgomery, and Hendricks Counties on Tuesday.  He also has a scheduled visit in Huntington County later this week.

More than 60 Indiana counties will be receiving Federal Help America Vote Act grant dollars to go towards local election improvement and security efforts. Statewide grants are valued at approximately 2 million dollars.

Since the start of the year, Secretary Morales has delivered grant checks to more than 60 counties.

“It has been a packed and productive first month of 2024!  We have crisscrossed the Hoosier state, delivering grants to county clerks and election administrators.  I’m so encouraged to see these resources being used at the county level towards a wide range of improvements from voter outreach efforts to items that will increase election integrity,” said Indiana Secretary of State Diego Morales.
