Scriptless in Seattle is set to bring Musical Improv Comedy to The Astra on Saturday, March 21

The Astra Theatre will be welcoming America’s musical improv comedy group, Scriptless in Seattle, for a night of entertainment on Saturday, March 21, 2026. Come and enjoy a show that has not yet been written and even get the chance to steer its direction! 

Tickets are on sale now at www.AstraTheater.com.  Reserved seating tickets are $20, and the doors are scheduled to open at 7:30 p.m. with the comedy kicking off at 8:00 p.m.

With a style reminiscent of the beloved show “Whose Line Is It Anyway,” Scriptless in Seattle offers a unique blend of hilarious sketches, improvised musicals, game shows, film noir, and so much more. No two shows are ever the same, ensuring an evening filled with surprises, laughter, and memorable moments. 

In early 2019, a group of three comedy performers was on deck for a small talent show fundraiser in Cuyahoga Falls, OH. When approached about a name, they tossed around a few joke suggestions, eventually settling on a movie pun. Moments later, Scriptless in Seattle was introduced for the first time. Today, years later, Scriptless in Seattle is touring the country and still flying by the seats of their pants! 

In addition to sharing the evening with Scriptless in Seattle, The Next Act, Inc. invites you to join them at The Astra for future 2026 events. These events include Magnolia Boulevard on Saturday, February 7, Vincent Neil Emerson in concert on Friday, March 27, and comedian Dave Dugan on Saturday, April 18.  All events have tickets available on our website at AstraTheater.com with more to come.

The historic Astra Theatre is located in the heart of downtown Jasper, Indiana. Newly renovated with 357 seats, the Astra has main level and balcony seating with a concessions stand offering snacks, local craft and domestic beer, and wine that are available for purchase.
