Rotary Club of Dubois County to host Clay Shoot April 26th

The Rotary Club of Dubois County recently announced their plans to host their annual Clay Shoot event to raise funds for their Community Grants Program. This year’s event will be Friday, April 26th, and will be held at OFS Cool Springs in Velpen, Indiana. Old National Bank will be the 2024 event’s premier sponsor.

The cost to participate is $125.00 per participant and teams of four are recommended. Guests will shoot from 12 stations at OFS Cool Springs, targeting over 100 sporting clay targets. Ammunition and lunch will be provided. Participants are asked to bring their own 12-gauge semi-automatic or under-over shotguns for the event. This year’s event will feature both morning and afternoon sessions. Sponsorship opportunities are now available, ranging from $250.00 to $650.00.

“We are grateful to Old National Bank and OFS Cool Springs for their tremendous support of this event,” said Rotarian and event chair, Derek Budd. “Funds raised from this event will benefit the Rotary Club of Dubois County’s Community Grants Program, which each sponsor and participant should feel proud and confident in supporting.”

The Rotary Club of Dubois County will grant approximately $16,000 this year to Dubois County nonprofits. Recipients of funds in 2023 were Memorial Hospital Women & Infant Services, Southeast Dubois School Corporation, and Southwest Dubois School Corporation. Funds from this year’s Clay Shoot will benefit the 2025 Rotary Club of Dubois County Community Grants cycle.
