Rotary Club of Dubois County to host 18th Annual Economic Forecast Luncheon

Dubois Co.- The Rotary Club of Dubois County recently opened registration for their 18th annual Indiana University Kelley School of Business Economic Forecast Luncheon, to be held Thursday, November 17th at KlubHaus 61 in Jasper from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm. Attendees will enjoy lunch while receiving an update on world, national, state, and local economic outlooks for 2023 and beyond from a panel of economic experts.

2022 panelists include: 

-Andrew Butters: Assistant Professor in the Business Economics & Public Policy Department, Kelley School of Business

-Dr. Russell Rhoads: Associate Clinical Professor of Financial Management, Kelley School of Business

-Dr. Timothy Slaper: Research Director of the Indiana Business Research Center

-Dean Vonderheide: Mayor of Jasper, Indiana

“We are excited to have such a strong panel for the 18th year of our Economic Forecast Luncheon,” said Derek Budd, Rotary Club of Jasper Treasurer and event co-chair. “This event is unique because it allows attendees to not only get updates on what’s happening in the economic world currently but what’s projected to come. You’ll get real-time information at the event that you won’t hear anywhere else.”    

Community and Economic Development is one of Rotary International’s eight areas of focus. Proceeds from the event go toward the Rotary Club of Dubois County’s Community Grants program. One hour of Economics CPE is available for CPAs.
